Welcome to my YouTube channel, a companion to my website "The Irish Mandolin" www.theirishmandolin.com The channel is aimed at those with a yen to learn to play Irish Traditional Music on the mandolin or, indeed, those who wish to expand their repertoire. The channel features a mix of the various musical forms - reels, jigs, hornpipes, mazurkas, polkas, marches - and you'll find some session standards sitting alongside some less well-known but, in my opinion, glorious tunes. Each video features mandolin tablature and sheet music so that you can play along with the tune.
